The Desire to Fly

Editorial illustrations created for AOPA Magazine, a U.S. publication dedicated to private aviation. The artworks explore flight as a personal journey: the pilot license is portrayed as a young bird’s first flight from the nest, a metaphor of freedom and self-trust; and the medical certificate becomes a paper airplane carrying the pilot, turning a bureaucratic document into an act of imagination. Flying is not only technical skill: it is an inner movement, a desire that takes shape in the air
