Care, Relationship, Humanity

Editorial illustrations created for American Family Physicians, a U.S. medical journal for family doctors. The artworks explore three themes: transitional care management, depicted as an accompanied return home where continuity and relationship support healing; the role of mirror neurons in the mother-child bond, shown as an intimate exchange of reflected gestures and shared presence; and professional grief among family physicians, often unseen, arising from sustained exposure to vulnerability, loss and emotional responsibility. The visual language turns medicine into listening and presence, showing that to care also means to be affected by the other
