Empathy in Leadership

The artwork explores empathy within leadership: two profiles face each other, the manager and the employee. Both contain a stormy sea, symbolizing stress and emotional strain. Yet in the leader’s figure, a lighthouse stands among the waves, representing steady presence and guidance. In the employee’s figure, the sea is rough and crossed by lightning, expressing difficulty and disorientation. The relationship begins in recognizing that the sea is the same, but that someone, for a moment, can be a harbor
