Identity, Care and Inclusion

Editorial illustrations created for BIZ, the magazine of Marquette University Business School, which explores contemporary issues in work, education and society. The artworks address the need to support African American women caregivers and recognize the emotional and physical labor involved in caring for others. They also reflect on diversity and inclusion through visual metaphors of open-minded leadership, breaking through bias, the challenges of being a woman in professional environments, equitable hiring, mentoring and the understanding of one’s identity. A visual language that brings together care, responsibility and transformation
