Waiting

Waiting is a series of 8 illustrations, some painted on large canvases, where a female figure sits facing the sea. Beside her, an empty chair accompanies the scene, a silent presence that shifts in meaning, becoming what is being awaited. The sea opens the space, the chair holds it. Waiting takes shape in this balance between presence and absence, between what is and what might arrive. The figure remains, while time expands and fills with possibility.
