Springtime

A rug crafted in Samugheo using the Sardinian Pibiones technique, part of a poetic interpretation of the seasons. Here, spring’s blooming is symbolized by the profile of a woman, representing rebirth, delicacy, and transformation. The branches that surround her narrate the passing of time, the natural cycle moving through silence, budding, blossoming, and return. The Pibiones technique, with its small raised wool knots, creates a textured and vibrant surface, where the ancient gesture of weaving becomes a visual story and a living presence in space.
